Terry’s been chronicling Olympic Games for nearly 40 years, and whether wandering through the streets of Montreal in 1976 or marveling with the rest of us over a kid named Crosby in Vancouver in 2010, his sometimes jaundiced view of the games has also been tempered with a certain hope if not downright optimism over an event designed (in theory, at least) to bring all of us closer together.
